The two main categories in digital systems is software and hardware.
When discussing software we are mainly talking about programs that can be run on a computer.
Hardware is the physical parts of a computer, such as the processor, memory modules and the screen. It's the stuff you can SEE and USE.

Transferring and Capturing Data: 1. Students learn how to use the photo app on their iPad or how to use a digital camera 2. Students will embark on the photo challenge where they have to take pictures of 5 different things that mean a lot to them- for whatever reason. They may be as creative as they like with their image. Students MUST have a reason they have chosen each object/thing/person and why it means so much to them. 3. Students transfer and insert pictures into an app or program that allows for recording speech (e.g. Book Creator, Keynote, PowerPoint). They may need to spend some time formatting the page/s with their pictures on it. Students then record a voice over for how each picture reflects the word in the challenge 웃 4. Have students transfer the presentation to Seesaw or onto a USB or share drive. 6. What is the difference between transferring and capturing?
