The Chinese zodiac is a mathematical cycle of 12 animals. Each animal represents one year. People are associated with the zodiac animal for the year that they are born. The 12 animals in order are: Rat, Ox & Cow, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster & Chicken, Dog, and Pig

How 2023’s Year of the Rabbit will affect youIn general, Rabbit years abound with creativity and an appreciation for the arts. You might feel yourself being pulled toward exploring museums, music festivals and performances. In social gatherings, the Year of the Rabbit will encourage more cordiality and social niceties. If disputes arise, diplomacy will win out. Chances are, you’ll also face many options, but like the rabbit’s burrow, you should have multiple exit points and not get too attached to specific decisions. It is important to remember to always have a Plan B!

Task: Today we will looking at our year in focus. We want to know more about YOU and your personal character traits.
As it is the Year of the Rabbit in Chinese New Year, you need to research the rabbit's character traits and see what you have in common with the rabbit.
You will research your own chinese horoscope and find out what animal you are. You will also research to friends to see what their character is... It will be interesting to find out what you have in common with your sign and your friends' signs!

Goal Setting for 2023
Task:
The small artwork on the goal setting sheet is to be coloured using warm, cool and neutral tones.
Warm tones- Red, orange, yellow, brown, pinks Cool tones- blues, greens, purples (purple can also cross over as a warm colour) Neutrals- black, white grey.
The main body of the animal and the year is to be coloured in TEXTA using the scheme you choose (either warm, cool or neutrals). The background tones are to be coloured in pencil to make the animal stand out, these colours need to be the opposite of the rabbits body colours.
