Short Biography Task

Task: In pairs, you are required to research and prepare an A3 poster presentation on the life and times of William Shakespeare.

There is not a lot of room on an A3 poster, so you will need to get creative with how you present your information. See below for poster presentation information.

Who was William Shakespeare?
Include information about- Birth, Early Life, Marriage, Children,  Interests/ Hobbies,Why did he start to write plays?

Shakespeare's Similes and Metaphors
Find Two Similes and Two Metaphors that Shakespeare used in his writing. Writing the sayings and then write your definition of it.

Famous Plays
Name Five famous plays and Two Sonnets that which Shakespeare wrote.

Phrases We Use Today
Two phrases which are still used today- and your personal meaning of what it means.

Later Life
Include: Older Age activities, honours/awards, where did he live, Death
